At the Surgical Clinic, we provide specialized care in several different surgical areas. Here, we meet patients who need investigation, treatment, and follow-up for various surgical conditions. We receive patients in areas including urology, gastrointestinal surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and endocrine surgery. Our clinic is characterized by a strong patient focus, where we strive to provide safe and secure care. We are also constantly working to develop and improve our work methods to best meet the needs of our patients.

Nurse at the Surgical Clinic Uro-team, Falun Job Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of an engaged and specialized team? At the Surgical Clinic in Falun, we are now looking for two nurses for our Uro-team! Here you will have the opportunity to work with both advanced healthcare and close patient contact in a pleasant work environment.

As a nurse in the Uro-team, you will work with the investigation and treatment of patients with urological diagnoses. The team handles most issues related to kidneys and urinary tract, both benign and malignant conditions. The tasks are varied and include, among others:

• Clinic work and patient counseling
• Assisting in minor urological procedures and examinations
• Planning and following up on patient care together with the team
• Working in collaboration with doctors and other healthcare staff

We offer you a developing workplace with dedicated colleagues where you will have the opportunity for further education to become a Contact Nurse and training in urology.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience from outpatient care
• Experience as a contact nurse
• Experience in surgery and urology

Personal qualities:

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in urology and surgery. The most important thing is that you have a strong commitment to patient care and are eager to develop in the field.

You are confident in your professional role, work independently, and have good collaboration skills. We prefer that you are proactive and enjoy being in an environment where you can influence work methods and patient care.

Background checks in suspicion and criminal records will be performed.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed healthcare professionals (HOSP) before any job offer.
